Hannah Din

Founder and CEO of Thrive Social Capital CIC

With a degree in Economics and Management Science from Toronto, Hannah's career began in finance, as a financial advisor and later at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to own and operate a hotel, three restaurants, and a bridging finance company across the UK and UAE.

Hannah brings this extensive business acumen to her community work, building innovative, sustainable solutions rooted in lived experience and cultural insight. Her deep understanding of diverse ethnicities and cultures allows her to connect authentically with underrepresented communities, recognising their strengths and responding to their unique challenges.

A respected leader in South Yorkshire and beyond, Hannah has worked alongside the current Lord Mayor of Sheffield to champion equitable employment opportunities for marginalised groups. She chairs the South Yorkshire Women's Network, supported by the ICB, which empowers women across sectors. Nationally, Hannah contributes to UN Women, where she leads with her unwavering commitment to gender equality.

Her work has been recognised at the House of Lords, and she has had the honour of discussing Thrive Social's Capital impact with HRH King Charles. She is currently working with the Homewards (Royal Foundation of the Prince and Princesses trust) team to address race equality and employment within the homeless community.

Through every initiative, Hannah leads with purpose, integrity, and a deep belief that everyone, regardless of background deserves the opportunity to thrive.
